Kids Cove Daycare & OSC is looking to hire 2 fultime Early Childhood Educators we are looking for someone who is dedicated, energetic, dynamic, and crafty, but most of all has compassion for working with children.

We are a play-based program that is inspired by Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework (Flight)

Qualifications:

level 1, 2 or 3 child care certifications.

Pefered 1+ year experience working in a early childhood environment

Must have current First-Aid/CPR Certificate or willing to obtain,

Must have current criminal record check or willing to obtain,

have a strong understanding of child development and behavior,

excellent communication skills,

be very organized,

have good computer skills,

have strong leadership & problem-solving skills and a strong ability to multi-task,

must look & present self in a professional manner,

The following is an basic idea of the expectiations of our program, please note that it is not restricted to this list and may be adjusted when needed, the primary role is to keep children happy and safe.

Ensuring you are adhering to the regulations of the Child Care Licensing Act at all times
Creating activities and setting up provocations based on the children's interests
Preparation and implementation for daily planning.
Greeting and assisting parents
Maintaining records in accordance to the Child Care Licensing Act
Communicating and interacting positively with parents, co-workers, and children.
Communicating any concerns or issues to the director immediately
Support all Children with their developmental needs daily
Light cleaning of facility throughout workday and at end of shift
Set up and take-down provocations outside when needed
