Description
The role we are offering you:
CAE is looking for a passionate electrical designer for its Healthcare division. You will apply your specialized knowledge to CAE Healthcare’s training solutions contributing to make health care safer. These training solutions include patient simulators, medical equipment simulators, surgical simulators (such as interventional cardiology), ultrasound simulators and tailored training solutions for the medical device manufacturers (OEM).
You will actively participate in the growth of our CAE Healthcare division.
Are you ready to:
· Be in an environment that works with cutting edge technologies such as sensors, wireless, microcontrollers, motors, batteries, embedded displays.
· Work in an engineering department that includes various other disciplines including mechanical engineers as well as firmware and software developers.
· Take into consideration important aspects such as reusability, scalability, quality, modularity, simplicity and customer satisfaction.
· Assist in the creation and review of drawings, specifications and requirements.
· Assist in the definition of the simulator equipment configuration, produce the bill of materials, wiring diagrams
· Participate in design activities such as PCB CAD and wire harnesses.
· Collaborate with other groups such as manufacturing, customer service and supply chain.
· Support third party suppliers and vendors
· Participate in technical and conformance evaluations
· Participate in requirement and design reviews (PDRs, CDRs)
· Participate in estimates
· Provide technical solutions to meet project requirements
