If playing a key role in the operations and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure throughout our campus appeals to you and you have a positive, forward-thinking attitude with strong communication skills, you may be a perfect fit as our campus Electrician. In the role, you will be responsible for obtaining permits, providing budget information, campus inspections, installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all campus electrical equipment, fire alarm panels, control systems, construction, and renovation projects across the campus.
You believe that it is important to ensure that all aspects of your work are in compliance with applicable regulation, policies and protocols. You will enjoy working within and contributing to the School’s vibrant and respectful workplace culture.
Your Opportunity:
This is a full-time position with pension and benefits. This is a Monday to Friday position; however, based on operational needs or events, occasional flexibility will be required, including weekends, evenings, and overtime.
Your Certificates and Experience:
· Interprovincial Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician ticket
· Maintain current Electrician's license and other credentials to meet government regulations
· Valid BC Driver’s License
