Wage: $47.35/hour (as per existing collective agreement with CLAC). Overtime after 8 hours/day (as per existing collective agreement).

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, architectural drawings and electrical code specifications
  • Pulling cables and cable tray installation
  • Wire lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, control panels
  • Install electrical systems and other related electrical equipment
  • Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix defective circuits
  • Willing to act as a mentor to apprentice Electricians

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience working on large (100 million dollar +) industrial construction projects
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must possess a Journeyperson ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions:

  • Long term projects, site based, camp provided
  • Charter Flights from either Edmonton or Calgary, or travel allowance for out-of-province candidates who qualify
  • 14 days on 7 days off, 10 hours per day shift rotation
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
