About OSCO Construction Group

Our structural steel sector, Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd., has grown to become the largest steel fabricator in Eastern Canada and one of the most respected steel suppliers on the Eastern Seaboard. Our customer base has extended from the Atlantic Provinces to the New England states, and other offshore export destinations.

Our rebar sector, Ocean Steel & Rebar Limited, is dedicated to producing a fabricated reinforcing steel product that meets or exceeds the requirements specified in the contract documents, designs and specifications. We have over 50 years’ experience in fabricating and supplying reinforcing steel for all types of construction projects - from large scale industrial to smaller retail.

Our precast sector, Strescon Limited and PreCon Precast Limited, have grown to become the largest pre-stressed concrete manufacturers in Eastern and Central Canada. We service our customers from our Precast and Pipe operations in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and the New England region of the United States.

Our ready-mix sector OSCO Concrete is one of the largest ready-mix players in the Atlantic Region. OSCO Concrete also operates the largest pump fleet, in both number and size in this region. OSCO Concrete has been supplying ready-mix concrete since 1968 using a large fleet of modern, concrete mixer trucks.

Our construction sector, FCC Construction, provides Civil, Electrical, and Communications Cabling services to a growing customer base in the Atlantic Provinces in the commercial, institutional, and industrial market sectors.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering or Engineering Technology program
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential
Persuasive and effective communication with solid presentation skills
Focused, self-driven and thrives on being challenged
Enjoy being part of an ever-changing, evolving organization
Thrive working in a team-based environment
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to read and understand construction drawings would be considered a strong asset
