Jardeg is currently recruiting for an equipment operator (Zoom Boom/ Skid steer/ AWP) to work at one of our projects in Leduc, AB!
The project will consist of a new overpass over the QEII Highway; new on-off ramps from the QEII Highway; improvements to some existing ramps; intersection improvements at 65 Avenue and 50 Street in Leduc; and, completion of Perimeter Road and 65 Avenue, west of the QEII Highway.

As an Operator you will

  • Handle and distribute construction materials (load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas; remove rubble and other debris)

  • Excavate, back fill and compact sub-grade (move and level earth using shovels and rakes; operate tampers)

  • Place, consolidate and cast in place concrete or masonry structures (shovel concrete and other materials into concrete mixers; mix, pour and spread concrete; use concrete vibrators)

  • Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades at construction site

  • Operate jackhammer and drills to break up concrete or pavement

  • Provide support for other trades as required



REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have valid certificates for operation of Zoom Boom, Skid Steer
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience operating equipment
  • Drivers License
  • CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015
  • ESC Fall Pro
  • AWP
  • Rigging ticket - an asset to have
