The Executive Director is a dynamic and thoughtful individual, who will advocate on behalf of the families and seniors they serve.

As the Executive Director you will be responsible for directing, managing, overseeing, and maintaining the overall operations of the residence, and assuring quality care and services are provided to our seniors.

The Executive Director is responsible to promote and carry out the goals and objectives of the communities, Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan. The Executive Director provides leadership and direction to their employees.

In the role of Executive Director, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the senior living community, which include but not limited to:

  • Set community goals and culture by providing leadership and vision.
  • Effectively manage all services of the Community, including Dining, Maintenance, Nursing, Health & Wellness, Marketing & Sales, and Administration.
  • Work collaboratively with the development, and implementation of policies and procedures and communicate them to the Community.
  • Ensuring high resident and family satisfaction.
  • Develop employee culture of excellence to have an engaged and productive team
  • Develop and implement business plans to maintain high occupancy and achieve financial goals – budgeting, monitoring, and corrective action planning.
  • Responsible for community financial performance through occupancy and revenue growth and expense management to achieve net operating income growth. Communicate on a regular basis with the seniors and their families
  • Handle all aspects of community talent management which, includes hiring, discharging, coaching and performance tracking of employees.
  • Maintain proper staffing hours in conjunction with annual budgets.
  • Ensure that the Community wide Quality Improvement Program is ongoing.
  • Other functions that may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Retirement, Health Care, or another relevant sector
  • Previous experience in a management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of budget management
  • Strong decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Current Registration as a Registered Practical Nurse/ Registered Nurse (RPN/RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an asset
  • Flexible work schedule is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $83,200.00-$124,800.00 per year
