The Position: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Facility Technician to join our fun and fast-paced team. As a Facility Technician, you will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of the facility's systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Additionally, you will handle ice maintenance, pool chemical readings and dosing, and assist other departments as needed. This is a full-time position.

Key Requirements:

• Trade qualification or Power Engineering certificate (Minimum IFO certification)
• Pool Operators Level 1 & 2 Certification would be an asset, but not required
• Previous building operations and ice making experience
• Own transportation is an asset due to the Club’s location
• You agree to get a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector search (22 or older)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of the facility’s systems, including: mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC
• Repairs and maintenance to the building, grounds, stationary and mobile equipment
• Safe operation of Zamboni and Olympia ice resurfacing machines
• Ice maintenance and pool chemical readings and dosing
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to effectively track and communicate work requests and work performed
• Assist other departments as required
