Offer exceptional service and create a positive guest experience for guests in Le Cafe, a quick service outlet. Prepare and cook food products ensuring proper techniques are followed, and always performing under the Food and Beverage standard operating procedures.
Job Description
Requirements
- Complete opening and closing procedures of Le Cafe Kitchen, as set out by departments standard operating procedures (SOP's)
- Assist with the transportation of all food products, be sure it is packed and stacked in accordance to Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s
- Prepare and cook food products ensuring proper techniques are followed
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus, products, cooking process, ingredients and potential relevant allergies
- Dispense and serve prepared food items to guests
- Follow up with management prior to shift regarding special functions or events for the day
- Participate in departmental skills training as required
- Assist the Chefs and Cooks with other designated duties within the job classification
- Adhere to all Company policies and departmental procedures and the Collective Agreement
Qualifications
- A relevant college diploma or university degree in culinary arts, cook’s trade certification or equivalent is preferred
- Completion of a secondary school diploma is required
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate preferred
- One (1) - three (3) years of related quick service experience is an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
