Roctek Products specializes in concrete manufacturing, delivery, installations, and a number of specialty product sales located in Creston, BC. Roctek is hiring an experienced Field Project Manager.

The candidate must be able to communicate in the English language and must have at least 1 year of experience in site management/ supervision. The Field Project Manager role will consist of managing the day-to-day operations of all construction sites, supervise construction site labourers, liaison booking & overseeing the work of all on site vendors & ensuring that all workers are conducting their duties safely.

The successful candidate is expected to have the following essential skills; reading site drawings; taking measurements; multitasking; overseeing & supervising multiple employees at once; reading text; document use; numeracy; writing; communication; working with others; problem solving; decision making; critical thinking; job task planning and organizing; finding Information; computer use & continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• High level of commitment to safety
• Must be detail oriented and able to follow instructions
• Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Must we able to work as a team and independently
• Experience working with concrete is must
• Knowledge of Verti-block or retaining walls is strongly recommended
• 2+ years experience supervising and scheduling construction sites
• Knowledge with Insulated Concrete Form Products is strongly recommended
• Previous experience with Bartell products is an asset
• Previous experience quoting jobs or estimating projects is an asset
• Heavy Equipment experience
• Grading experience
• Concrete forming experience
• General construction experience
