Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine services to ensure equipment availability to client site users.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for providing all maintenance, production and supply inventories of assigned equipment
  • Perform equipment operation (printing, scanning, copying) to deliver finished documents as required including use of finishing devices.
  • Provide appropriate communication, support, and interface to on-site client base as to equipment status and availability.
  • Proactively manage consumables and supplies replacement as required.
  • Provide customer training on assigned products to improve end user knowledge of equipment functionality
  • Maintain appropriate communication with Managed & Technical Services personnel within assigned area of coverage.
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly reporting of activities (as required) using activity reporting software and tools.
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction through proper use of customer management skills and engaging the support of other Xerox personnel as required.
  • Develop schedules & implement preventative and corrective maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime and performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electro-mechanical experience including using a multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical circuits, and the ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics to properly troubleshoot systems. This could include past roles as a Military or Veteran with electro-mechanical experience, HVAC/Cable Internet technician, Electrician, Automotive Mechanic or Repair.
  • Superior time management skills and dependable. Our customers are counting on you. If you're a "10 minutes early is on time, and on time is late" person, we want to talk about your career goals! We value dependable employees who are eager to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage, and a clean driving history. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is included in our technician background check.
  • This is an extremely active position that requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, walking, standing, squatting, bending, and driving for over 50% of the workday. Safety is our top priority especially around electrical components.
  • IT and network-based certifications (A+, CompTIA and AWS, etc.) are a plus

  • Actively and correctly completing service calls independently.
