NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: FINANCE SUPPORT I
Primary Site: St. Marys
Regular Part-time

POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of the Finance team, the Financial Support I will provide effective and efficient accounting support to the Finance Department. In this role, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for dealing with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll processes.

REPORTS TO: Finance Manager

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $22.71 to $24.15 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Secondary School Diploma
- Successful completion of a 1-year Accounting Certificate

Experience:
- Experience with the Meditech Hospital Information System.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A good understanding of general accounting elements.
- Previous switchboard experience an asset.

Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer service.
- Able to interact with a wide variety of clients in order to meet their needs.
- Personal skills to deal with sensitive and stressful patient information.
