Summary

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Controller's main responsibilities will be to prepare and provide financial information, but also :

- Support the preparation and follow up’s budgets;

- Produce monthly and annual financial statements;

- Reporting to the corporate;

- Participation in the year-end audit with the external auditors;

- Optimize processes, work methods, reports and internal controls;

- Participate in the preparation of performance indicators and other analyses;

- Participate in the production of information for special projects;

- Supervise the accounting technician in the performance of his/her duties;

- Coordination of corporate tax returns and other administrative obligations;

- Reconciliation process of accounts;

- All other related tasks.

Qualifications

- DEC with experience or BAC in accounting

- 5 to 10 years experience in a similar position;

- CPA designation (an asset);

- Advanced level of Excel skills;

- Bilingualism in French and English required;

- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;

- Knowledge of NCECF and USGAAP;

- Organizational skills and priority management;

- Team player and collaborative spirit;

- Flexibility and autonomy.

Sommaire

Relevant du directeur financier, le contrôleur aura comme principales responsabilités de préparer et fournir l’information financière, mais aussi :

• Supporter la préparation et les suivis des budgets ;
• Produire les états financiers mensuels et annuels ;
• « Reporting » à la société mère ;
• Participation à l’audit de fin d’année avec les auditeurs externes ;
• Optimiser les processus, méthodes de travail, les rapports ainsi que les contrôles internes ;
• Participer à la préparation des indicateurs de performance et autres analyses ;
• Participer à la production d’informations dans le cadre de projets spéciaux ;
• Superviser le technicien comptable dans la réalisation de ses tâches;
• Coordination des déclarations de revenus des sociétés et toute autre obligation administrative;
• Processus de réconciliations des comptes
• Toutes autres tâches connexes

Conditions d’emploi

• Date de début : dès que possible
• Salaire : selon l’expérience
• Horaire de travail flexible : 40 heures par semaine, du lundi au vendredi de 8h à 16h30
• Lieu de travail : Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville
• Télétravail possible

Profil recherché

• DEC avec expérience ou BAC en comptabilité
• Expérience de 2 à 5 ans dans un poste similaire ;
• Titre CPA (un atout) ;
• Maitrise d’Excel à un niveau avancé ;
• Bilinguisme français et anglais requis ;
• Habileté à communiquer de façon efficace, autant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit ;
• Connaissance des NCECF et USGAAP ;
• Sens de l’organisation et gestion des priorités ;
• Esprit d’équipe et de collaboration ;
• Flexibilité et autonomie.
