Fleet Licensed Technician (Mercedes Benz Sprinters/Metris) Job at Star Motors of Ottawa Mercedes-Benz
Star Motors of Ottawa Mercedes Benz is currently looking to hire an experienced Fleet Automotive Technician, specializing in Sprinter/Metris Vans. Our automotive business is growing, and we are looking for the Best Technicians.
Must Haves:
· 3-5 years minimum experience
· Ready to work in a state of the art environment
· Self-motivated / Strong Work Ethic / Attention to detail
· Strong client service skills
· Organized / Clean / Safety Conscious
· Computer literate
· Team player, works well with others
· Promote and maintain a Professional appearance, demeanor and good judgment
· 310S technician license
· Have and maintain a good standing with the Ontario College of Trades
· Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
Skills / Knowledge and Responsibilities:
· Advanced diagnostic abilities and experience with diagnostics and software
· Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform major repairs
· Evaluate mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems on vehicles using diagnostic equipment
· Perform vehicle maintenance services and inspect for needed repairs
· Perform repairs requiring the highest level of aptitude
· Road test vehicles with clients to help identify drivability issues
· Research and study industry publications and technical journals
· CDK Drive experience is considered an asset
