Join the team Crafted Crust at The Forks! We're seeking skilled and energetic people to fill full-time, part-time and supervisor positions. We are a new establishment at The Forks opening up in June. We have been in business for 8 years operating as a food truck here in Winnipeg. Now we have grown our business and are opening up this permanent location at The Forks. Crafted Crust is a gourmet sandwich shop using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Responsibilities:

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare food items according to recipes and company standards
• Assemble food items according to customer requests
• Ensure great presentation of all food items
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen and dining area
• Clean and maintain all workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients for freshness and accuracy

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the food industry or customer service
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) technology
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Flexible work hours (evenings, weekends, long hours, etc.)
