Forklift Mechanic - Shop & Field Service Available Job at Mechanics Hub
A successful repair and maintenance facility has an immediate opening for an experienced Shop and Field Forklift Technician near Concord, ON to work on its customer aerial lift/material handling equipment.
The company is looking for an experienced and preferably certified mechanic with at least 4+ years of relevant working experience on forklift systems, performing a variety of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience performing repairs on relevant forklift systems
- Knowledge and experience using diagnostic software's to assist with troubleshooting and repairs
- Strong verbal and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform fleet repairs including but not limited to:
- Preventative maintenances (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication)
- Diagnostics
- ABS and braking system repairs
- Hydraulic repairs
- Light engine repairs
- Light driveline repairs
Compensation:
- $30 - $40/hour
- Health, dental, and vision coverages available
- Service truck provided for work purposes
Shifts:
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. Depending on operational needs the occasional shortened weekend shift on Saturday would be required.
- Mechanics for the field service role would need to be flexible in the event that a service call may happen slightly before working hours. (e.g. 7:30am)
No Journeyman or Red Seal requirement for this role.
