We are presently searching for our next talented team member as a Front Desk Agent to join our Accommodations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

Reservations

  • Reservations.
  • Answer guest inquiries in person, by phone and email in a timely manner.
  • Take information for reservations or wait lists.

Front Desk

  • Follow SOPs and Procedures.
  • Help as need be in accounting counting floats.
  • To welcome, check-in, check-out, and assist guests.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing calls on switchboard in a timely manner.
  • Maintain guest accounts.
  • Provide general information as required.
  • Maintain security of building.
  • Maintain communications with other workers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of front office, back office, and kitchen area.
  • Updating ski reports in winter.
  • Make sure FD is Clean, Tidy and Stocked at all times.

Communications:

  • Communicate with a smile whether on the phone or in person.
  • Full working knowledge of switchboard and base radio.
  • Relay messages for guests and for staff in a timely manner.
  • Maintain good communications with all departments.
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous manner to guests and staff at all times.
  • Be familiar with all fire, safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Provide correct information on the resort facilities, Alpine and Nordic skiing, campgrounds, boathouse, and surrounding areas.
  • Provide correct information on room rates, cancellation policy and packages.
  • Record maintenance problems in maintenance book.
  • Check the message slot and communication folder daily when coming on shift.
  • Record in incident report and handover sheet any incidents or problems that have come up that others should be aware of.
  • Full working knowledge of computer in regard to emails, receiving and responding to inquiries in a quick and efficient manner.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Responsible and self-motivated individual able to assess and prioritize necessary duties.
  • Able to work in a high-paced environment as both an individual and team player.
  • Knowledge of the park and surrounding area (or intent to learn).

This is a year-round position with an expected commitment of a full season - Summer Season (June-September) / Winter Season (November-April).
