Front-end Developer Job at Breakdown Services, Ltd.
Position is full-time & candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. Although the position is PRIMARILY REMOTE, candidates must reside or reliably commute to the greater Vancouver, British Columbia area. Fluent written and spoken English communication skills are required.
Breakdown Services Ltd, is looking for Front-end Engineers to build the next generation of products and services for Actors, Talent Agents, and Casting Directors. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Back End Engineers, Database Administrators, and QA Engineers to ship new features and product improvements to Actors Access, Breakdown Express, and other services used widely within the entertainment industry.
Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years of recent Front-end Developer work experience.
Expertise in HTML5/CSS3/Javascript, including responsive web design.
Knowledge in JQuery, React, Redux, ES6+, Node.js, LESS, and Sass.
Experience interacting with APIs
Familiarity with back end technologies (we use Lucee and SQL Server)
An eye for detail and building highly usable interfaces
Experience using Git and project management software such as JIRA.
Desire to learn new technologies and trends in web.
Experience building compositional / functional components for reusability.
Able to multitask and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $90,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
