Full Time Caregiver Job at Mera Group
We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide care for a (61 year old/middle aged) woman in Regina who is recovering from a hemorrhagic stroke. Provide assistance for this middle-aged woman during an intensive period of rehab. Your dedication and care will provide support to a professional couple in their rehabilitation/equipped home.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Assist with personal care: transfers, grooming, bathing, toileting.
· Assist with transportation to appointments.
· Assist with daily activities.
· Companionship and conversation – encouragement, support.
· Assist with light housekeeping.
· Assist with meal preparation.
Requirements:
· Ability to treat and care for her and her property with dignity and respect.
· Ability to communicate with her and family in a friendly and pleasant manner.
· Ability to lift, push, pull 25 pounds.
· Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach.
· Provision of Criminal Record Check and Driving History, evidence of valid driver’s licenses.
Preferences with candidates with a healthcare certificate, RN, LPN, CCA and PT.
Scheduling:
Full time position – Monday to Friday
Daily hours – 8 hours
Part time position on weekends.
Training:
Training and on the job, support provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
