RAPS is Seeking a Full Time Caregiver to Assist an individual who has had a stroke (E7)
Location: Northeast Edmonton
Days: Week 1: Mon, Wed- Sunday (Tuesday off)
Week 2: Mon Tues, Thurs, Friday (Wednesday and weekend off)
· Shift is on weekly rotational schedule
Hours: 6:00am-3:35pm
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Mechanical transfers, Personal care (bathing, dressing and toileting), support on outings using DATS services, meal preparation, medication administration, range of motion, laundry, light housekeeping, and companionship.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, valid first aid & CPR certificate (or be willing to obtain), be a nonsmoker, speak fluent English, and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with flu vaccinations. A valid driver’s license / vehicle is considered an asset. Must have HCA certification and/ or previous healthcare experience. Candidate must demonstrate good English communication skills.
Rate of Pay: $18/ hour
