RAPS is Seeking a Full-Time Caregiver to assist Individual with Reduced Mobility (S32)
Location: South Edmonton – MacTaggart
Hours/Days: 5 shifts per week (flexible hours: to be discussed with employer)
**Approx. 30-40 hours per week**
Job Description: duties include but are not limited to mobility assistance, medication reminder, manual transfers, checking blood pressure, personal care (bathing and dressing assistance), meal preparation, light housekeeping (laundry), support on outings (doctor/physiotherapy appointments), supervision and companionship.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: must have a recent vulnerable sector check with the vulnerable sector, valid driver’s license and vehicle, fully vaccinated against covid-19, be a non-smoker, HCA Certificate and/or minimum 6-months experience in the health care field. First aid & CPR Certificate is considered an asset. Ideal candidate will be physically fit to perform manual transfers.
Rate of Pay: $18 - $20/hr – based on experience and qualifications.
