General Labourer Job at Kings Wood Products
Kings Wood Products is a Pallet & crate manufacturing company established in 1970. Our products include pallets, crates, reels & custom export packaging.
We are looking for motivated, team-oriented individuals to join our company & help us to continue to grow.
Our hours are from 6:30 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon Monday to Thursday & 6:30 to 12:30 on Fridays.
On a basic level, we operate in three well organized teams.
- The cutting shop, responsible for cutting & shaping lumber to size using a wide variety machinery.
- The building shop, where all of our skids are built either by hand or by means of the pallet maker.
- The custom shop, where our experienced builders make anything from small simple crates to boxes big enough to park a car in.
Depending on where you are needed, your interests, & your qualifications the duties required of you could vary quite a bit.
The custom jobs we take on often require onsite packing so occasional travel for new exciting projects may be an option.
All applicants should be in relatively good health, be able to lift & move up to 25kgs throughout the day if needed, have a willingness to learn, & positive attitude coming into work each day.
Experience with nail guns, impact drivers, saws, or previous general labour is an asset but not required. We are willing to train new employees who want to learn.
