Scope of the Role: This dynamic role that supports the Mechanisms Group & Division level to provide necessary support in assisting to manage global program quotes. Administer activities to support Sales, APQP and Group office business demands while adhering to company policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Request, gather and input the information that is required from all designated channels to complete the various steps that are mandatory in the quoting process.
  • Collect quotes from Divisions and prepare Side By Side, compare quote details, identify key areas & review details with upper management.
  • Follow-up with various MM division(s) to ensure on time quote arrival at group office for internal review and final customer submission.
  • Analyze Side by Side data for any discrepancies
  • Arrange Kick-off, Pre-Quote & Final Quote Review meeting with Group and Divisional team
  • RFQ logging/assigning tracking number
  • Update and maintain internal and customer related forms
  • Support and encourage KAIZEN activities within the working environment while adopting and practicing KAIZEN principles and concepts with department personnel.
  • Participate in GEAR activities in order to achieve corporate goals
  • Work in compliance and conform to TS16949 and ISO14001 standards
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Work in a safe, efficient and professional manner
  • Ensure that general and departmental procedures are executed correctly and regularly

Basic Requirements :

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in business data analysis and admin required
  • Advanced computer skills [Microsoft Suite (Specially Excel), MRP systems] and willing to learn new tools and systems to improve performance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; plus the ability to effectively interact with outside customers, suppliers and all levels of employees internally in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledge of SAP systems is preferred
  • Knowledge of logistics and packaging is preferred
  • Exposure in manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Ability to extract, understand and analyze financial data
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment that is fast paced and technically demanding
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with internal functional groups, suppliers and customers
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Multi-tasker who can respond to challenges in a timely manner
