Job Purpose: In a friendly and courteous manner, this position is responsible for directing and coordinating golf guests upon arrival to the Resort and at the first tee as well as monitoring and enforcing the flow and speed of play on the golf course. It is also important that following training, you have full knowledge of all Resort facilities and services and be able to promote and direct guests to those areas. A player assistant will also foster and ensure open communication with the Pro Shop, Maintenance Department, Outside Services and all other departments. It is necessary to understand other outside services roles on the driving range and cart cleaning to enhance the team efforts. You are also responsible for connecting with on-site first aid in the event that a guest is injured.

Qualifications: Prior customer service experience would be considered an advantage. Knowledge of the game golf would be an asset.

  • Demonstrates basic computer skills to view and utilize the tee sheet and pace of play platforms.

  • Demonstrate a high level of Guest Focus by striving for high guest satisfaction, going out of the way to be helpful and pleasant and making it as easy as possible on the guest rather than self, department, or organization.

  • Following training will have a sound knowledge of the functions and promotions of the St. Eugene Golf, Resort & Casino and the surrounding area.

Conditions of Employment:

This position will require a flexible work schedule that will include weekdays and weekends as well as regular day, early morning, evening shifts and holidays. The position requires time spent working outdoors which may include inclement weather.
