We’re excited to meet our next Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team in our Calgary office.

The opportunity:

As part of the Inkeros Marketing team, the Graphic Designer is a creative and intuitive professional who has a deep understanding of visual design. They have the skills to translate ideas and concepts into content that delivers its purpose.

What will you do?

• Design creative multimedia content as assigned (graphics, short videos for social media)
• Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
• Develop mood boards and brand kits
• Create graphics and edit photos, working with the internal design team when necessary.
• Photo retouching of images used in marketing and advertising
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working as a Graphic Designer in a professional agency/corporate setting
• Advanced knowledge and application of the full Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Adaptable, flexible and able to hit deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a fast learner
• Experienced in using G-suite features (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
• MUST be able to provide a design portfolio (we will not be contacting candidates who do not provide this in their application)
• MUST be able to provide two professional references

Nice - to - haves:

• Experience in video editing, animation and digital illustrations (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Experience building brand kits with proof of work in portfolio

The ideal candidate is somebody who is passionate about design and is immersed in art, photography, fashion, film, music and pop culture. There are a ton of Designers who can use the software to create, but we’re looking for somebody with impressive creative references who can integrate this into their work. It’s important that the person we hire has a pulse on what’s relevant today and is able to push the boundaries of design in a corporate environment.

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
