We are looking for an individual who is interested in a career as a Grounds Maintenance Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping our grounds tidy and well-maintained to reflect our company image. Our Grounds Maintenance Workers perform a variety of tasks including planting, pruning and fertilizing plants, raking debris, cleaning storm water drains and removing graffiti.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing greenery.
- Maintain trees and shrubs.
- Maintain flower beds and flower pots.
- Maintain the overall landscaped areas, including pruning and weeding.
- Mow lawns and trim hedges.
- Trim trees, shrubs and hedges.
- Take down trees, bushes or hedges.
- Assist customers with problems concerning their landscape.
- Be available during business hours to respond to customer requests.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2023-05-17
