HD Mechanic Job at Ponting Contracting Ltd.
Ponting Contracting is a logging road building company based out of Campbell River, BC . Reporting to the mechanical supervisor you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnosis and repairs to our equipment which includes excavators, drills, rock trucks, dozers, graders and pick ups.
This is a camp position working a 2 week in and 1 week out rotation. Overtime after 8 hours worked.
A successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, require minimum supervision and have excellent problem solving skills.
Remuneration will be based on experience. Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic preferred but we are willing to consider a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice.
Must have a valid diver's license with up to date drivers abstract.

Salary: $44.00-$48.00 per hour
