Job Summary

Support and help orchestrate Food and Beverage services at one of the newest corporate headquarters in Toronto. You will assure excellence in service delivery to ensure that our guests are provided with a unique experience at each touch point. A true “roll up your sleeve” role, you will do whatever it takes for your team to succeed and create a one of kind B&F experience—main area of focus will be on the banquet operation.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Hospitality Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Monitor programs and events to ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.
  • Observation to ensure that employees are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
  • Ensure employee compliance with company standards and policies and external regulations.
  • Encourage and motivate employees to perform their best, take responsibility for tasks and assignments, make decisions and provide input on improvements.
  • Observation to ensure that hourly employees have the necessary resources to effectively perform their jobs (e.g., supplies, equipment, and inventory).
  • Coordinate tasks and work with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently through managing KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with management teams to ensure quality assurance expectations and standards are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor dining/meeting rooms for setup , service, safety, and well being of guests for quality assurance.

Here’s how we’ll know you are the best fit:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 12-18 months experience in a food and beverage supervisory role, or related professional area.
  • SMART SERVE certified. , Food Safety and Handling Certification (or equivalent Ontario Approved Certification).
  • +2 years experience working in a high-volume banquet operation is ideal and/or supervisory experience within the banquet operation.
  • Experience with multi-program banquet facilities with full beverage and food offerings in a banquet / events environment is an asset.
  • Process oriented mind set for problem solving.

Salary: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
