Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality are consistently met.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the hotel’s vision and business goals.
  • Lead key departments within the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage.
  • Foster a positive and productive work culture, motivating staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Manage the hotel’s budget, optimizing resources and controlling operational costs.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues swiftly and satisfactorily.
  • Represent the hotel professionally in all interactions with guests, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and tourism entities to promote the hotel and contribute to the local hospitality community.
  • Monitor guest feedback and market trends to continually improve service and offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a general management role within the hospitality industry, ideally within an independent or boutique hotel setting.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to handle guest complaints and operational issues effectively.
  • Financial acumen, including experience in budget management, cost control, and resource optimization.
