Jardeg is currently recruiting for Independent Service Provider (Independent Contractor) Journeyman Electricians to build the SaskPower Great Plains Power Station in Moose Jaw, SK. This scope on the new, 360-megawatt natural gas plant is expected to continue through fall 2023. Once complete, there will also be opportunities to continue working at the Cargill Canola Processing Plant being built in Regina, which is expected to be operational in early 2024.


As an
ISP Journeyman Electrician you will:

  • Install Cable Tray/Conduit and support systems along with heavy cable pull and terminations
  • Install electrical equipment and along with reading and interpreting drawings and following Specifications and CEC
  • Install Medium voltage Switch gear and terminations
  • Install lighting, security and Control systems


Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years Industrial experience
  • CSTS/SCOT Certificate
  • ESTS Certificate – This is a “nice to have”
  • WHMIS 2015 Certificate
  • Fall Pro (OSSA Preferred)
  • AWP (OSSA Preferred)
  • CODC- R&R
  • Journeyman Certificate or be a registered apprentice
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Pre-employment A/D testing is required
  • Must meet Independent Service Provider (ISP) pre-qualification requirements
