NASS is currently looking for Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright for one of the plastic manufacturing company in Orangeville location.

Position : Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright

Location : Orangeville

Shifts Available : 12 hours Continental Shift ( Days & nights )

Pay Range : $ 42 - $ 44 per hour

Must have : 433 A license and Relevant work experience

Job Roles & Responsibilities :

• Work directly with the Technical Manufacturing Manager, Maintenance Planner and Production Supervisors to maintain and improve production efficiencies and provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Provide maintenance support to Glad manufacturing facility.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Inspections
• Perform Corrective Maintenance repairs (electrical and mechanical)
• Participate in Breakdown Elimination process to ensure root cause of failures is identified
• Timely response to emergency breakdowns
• Mechanical Troubleshooting and repairs
• Participate, contribute and support all continuous improvement initiatives with focus on recognizing and driving out loss
• Ensure that equipment is being operated safely and effectively
• Provide support to World Class Operations thru support of Total Productive Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis and Focused Improvements.
• Focus on continued learning of systems, processes and equipment design.
• Manage daily work order entries and assignments and identify part usage utilizing CMMS.
• Communicate with equipment set-up people, operators and Production Supervisors.

Abilities Company Looking for :

• Must have Millwright license
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as Maintenance Millwright
• Fanuc robotics experience is as asset
• Strong technical, planning and troubleshooting skills with proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process related issues to root-cause
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office
