Meadow Valley Meats Pitt Meadows is looking for a Full-Time Inside Salesperson to join our strong existing team. Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive and process orders/credits in person, by phone, fax, email, and voicemails
• Initiate sales by calling existing clients
• Check inventory for product availability, delivery schedule, and price verification
• Troubleshoot customer service issues and coordinate between internal departments for a positive outcome
• Create and print sales orders, invoices, product transfers and adjustments
• Co-ordinate for shipping and/or pickup of orders with corresponding paperwork
• Daily entry and posting of orders and credits
• Communicate shortages with Sales Reps
• Produce reports for various customers and other departments
• Organize and maintain filing of invoices and credit notes
• General administrative and clerical support
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers at all times
• Strong computer skills
• Previous experience in Sales is an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively (reading, writing, speaking) in the English language
• Knowledge of Urdu and/or Arabic languages will be an asset
• Experience in the meat industry will be an asset
• Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to GMP and sanitary work practices
• Flexibility to work longer hours/weekend (if and when needed) during special events will be an asset
