We are currently seeking an Instructor Therapist in Scarborough to conduct home and community-based ABA Therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental exceptionalities. This is a full-time Employee position with company and extended health benefits.

We are pleased to offer ABA Therapy across the Greater Toronto Area including Etobicoke, North York, Markham, Thornhill, Toronto, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby and Richmond Hill.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implementing client-specific Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming and teaching procedures with individuals with autism or other related developmental disabilities in one-on-one and/or in a group setting.
  • Delivering direct service in either home-based and community-based settings.
  • Recording and graphing data.
  • Documenting progress through detailed notes.
  • Work collaboratively with a client team.
  • Any other related administrative duties as assigned by the Senior Therapist.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree in psychology or related field or a diploma in a behavior science program (such as Behavioral Science Technology Diploma, Autism Behavioral Science Certificate, Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or working towards RBT certification
  • Experience implementing ABA teaching strategies directly with children and adolescents with autism, learning disabilities and related exceptionalism.
  • Has experience working as an Instructor Therapist in an ABA setting
  • Must have a vehicle and valid license to drive in Ontario, and be able to travel across the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Willing to conduct home-based and community-based sessions in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas.
  • Able to work between Monday to Saturdays 8:30 am to 6:30 pm
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills, organizational, and team player abilities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Recent Police Check / Vulnerable Sector Screening (not older than 6 months)
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Willing to work full-time at 30 to 40 hours per week as an employee
