The Ministry of Trade and Export Development (TED) is offering an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the Government of Saskatchewan’s international office network. As a key member of the International Offices Branch, you will join a team dedicated to advancing Saskatchewan’s growth objectives on the global stage.

The International Offices Branch is seeking a team-oriented International Engagement Specialist. This role will contribute directly to the success of Saskatchewan’s international office network by supporting policy development, project management and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the leadership team, the International Engagement Specialist will support the international office network by:

• Sharing a strong understanding of Saskatchewan’s international value proposition, with the ability to translate it into effective policy and engagement practices;
• Conducting research and analysis to advance strategic policy and programming initiatives;
• Leading projects and facilitating outreach to enhance partner engagement and alignment;
• Implementing effective communication channels between the international offices and the Saskatchewan headquarters;
• Supporting the design and delivery of stakeholder engagement activities, as well as implementation of feedback mechanisms; and
• Preparing information, advice and policy recommendations for senior leaders.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required to be successful in this position would be attained through the completion of a graduate level degree, and/or significant public sector experience in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement or international business development.
