Position Summary:

Mistras Services Inc. is seeking IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor for maintenance work in Saint John, NB on a 4/10 rotation with an immediate start until the end of the year.

Key Accountabilities Include:

• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, and by alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns
• Perform all duties as assigned and adheres to MISTRAS’ Core Values
• Technicians will be required to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
• Other related duties as required

Physical Job Demand:

• Ability to lift and carry 55 pounds

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• IRATA Rope Access Level 3 certification is required
• Confined Space is mandatory
• Various Client Safety Orientations are mandatory and will be accessible online to complete
• Ability to work with computers / computerized equipment
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
• Travel requirement to work on site
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
• Candidates will need to submit a valid driver’s license, 3 year driving abstract and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test before going to site
