Our IT infrastructure is a key success factor to our firm’s growth, which is why, as an IT Specialist, you’ll play an integral role supporting our staff as the first point of contact for their technology problems. You’ll also help implement the overall IT strategy and work on a variety of projects from the strategic plan. As someone newer in your IT career, this role will provide you with exposure to a variety of areas while gaining mentorship and training from senior IT experts.

Some of the ways you’ll support our vibrant professionals

- Monitor, respond, track, and perform updates in a ticket-based system
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, by phone, and electronically
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Track and report trending or recurring issues
- Update end-user “how-to” guides and knowledgebase
- Complete PC installation, configuration, and deployment for employees, install and configure other workstation equipment as needed
- Install hardware
- Additional miscellaneous technology tasks as needed

What you’ll bring to our team

- Easy going attitude
- Technical certificate is an asset
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Prior experience with computer hardware
- Ability to be on-call as required, especially during March and April
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Office 365, and virtualization is an asset
