Graphic Design Halifax is a small branding & marketing agency located in Halifax, NS. Working with clients to establish a strong digital identity for their business, we provide the following services: branding, web design, social media management and video production.
We are looking for an energetic, creative and flexible freelance designer to assist us from time to time with ongoing tasks, one-off projects, and potentially more. Our candidate will ideally live in Nova Scotia (for time-zone purposes), but we will consider working with an out-of-province designer, if it’s the right fit!

Daily Tasks
* Create digital graphics for websites, social media, and videos
* Create artwork for print ads and brochures, and help translate complex ideas and information into visual design.
* Design and edit product labels and boxes
* Edit product photos with a high level of accuracy and speed
* Stay on top of digital and design trends
* Organize and manage a variety of projects and timelines simultaneously
* Manages and maintains a catalog of all assets and supporting design files
Skills and Qualifications
* Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or similar
* Confident with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,Acrobat)
* Previous experience with web design platforms Wix, Shopify, and/or Wordpress
* Previous experience with Mac OS
* Strong eye for visual composition
* Ability to offer and receive constructive criticism
* Attention to detail and an eye for catching inconsistencies
* Understanding of print production, digital, and multimedia design
* Excellent time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiplepriorities to meet deadlines

Salary: $13.48-$22.83 per hour
