Title: Junior Land Analyst

Location: Fort St. John, BC

Direct Report: Project Manager

Canada West Land services continues to grow and solidify our position as a quality focused land management company operating across western Canada. With that, our Land Analyst team also continues to grow. We are looking for a Junior Land Analyst to join our Fort St. John, BC team. The Junior Land Analyst will be accountable to the Project Manager for high quality, error-free land administration support and is perfect starting position in this dynamic industry. Role and Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain land title documents, submissions, and registrations
• Submit, track, and follow up on third party requests
• Review survey, crossing, or constructions plans for correct details and information
• Generate general reports and project specific updates for clients
• Prepare and format reports for clients
• Search and review freehold (BC, Alberta) and crown ownership and associated interests,
• Consistent follow up and documentation of project needs
• Review of third party agreements for accuracy
• Other administrative duties as required

Candidate Qualifications:

• 0 to 2 years of experience working on BC Surface Land projects would be an asset
• Post-secondary education in land administration or relevant experience; or interest in the industr
• Methodical, detail driven
• Administrative background
• Know how or familiar with using AbaData, iMap, ILRR, BC Water Tool Reporting
• Comfortable using SharePoint, Outlook, Excel
• Ability to problem solve and research solutions
