Kumon Assistant Job at Kumon of Burnaby - South Slope
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible individual who loves working with children. This position is great for university students, and for those who want to seek a career in education.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grading student worksheets
- Helping students with their math and reading worksheets using the Kumon method
- Recording data into student's record books
- Parent communication via phone and in-person
- Other clerical duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prompt and reliable
- Strong math and reading skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Quick learner
- Experience with the Kumon method preferred
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Available to work the following shifts: Tuesdays 2:30-6:30pm and Wednesdays 2:30-7:00pm
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-12 per week
Salary: $15.65 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
