Landscape Contruction Crew Workers Needed Job at Okanagan Yard Works
Okanagan Yard Works is one of Kelowna's premiere landscaping companies. We specialize in the landscape construction of commercial and residential properties.
We are currently seeking to add a Landscape Construction Crew Worker to one of our fantastic teams. We are looking for people who take pride in their work and are passionate about creating amazing outdoor spaces. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and learn from experts in the field of landscape construction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Construction of retaining walls, paving, pathways, garden beds, and hardscapes, concrete work, gates, decks, fences and water features.
- Grading, drainage, planting of trees, shrubs, container stock, installing lawn and installing irrigation
- General labour, site clean-up, dig trenches, unloading and moving building materials
- Mobile equipment operation (skid steers, mini excavators)
Selection Criteria
- Fit, energetic and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture or a construction trade
- Good references.
- Comfortable in a physically demanding role and happy to work outside year round
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
