ROLE SUMMARY

Our Carpenters are responsible for supporting the structural execution of our custom homes and larger renovation projects while aligning to our innovative methods and building practices.

Our work is based in Oakville, Burlington and the Golden Triangle with a focus on high performance construction. We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team that has a passion for building and expanding their knowledge in the field.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in new home warranty and service.
  • Experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting is required.
  • Finish Carpentry/Framing Ticket preferred.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Customer service focused.
  • General knowledge of Health and Safety protocols on a construction site and demonstrates a safety conscious mindset.
  • Ability to skillfully use hand and power tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage variable workloads.
  • Strong attention to detail and motivated to meet quality control standards.
  • WHMIS, Working at Heights, Occupational Health and Safety Awareness Training Certificates.
  • Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License.

Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in carpentry

· Experience in residential carpentry a must

· Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Hand tools, pouch, basic power tools, hard hat & safety boots

· A team player who also works well independently

· Must have a vehicle

This position is full-time Monday to Friday with hourly pay of approximately $28- $35 per hour based on experience.
