And has a fully engaged team of eye care professionals(optometrists, opticians, and eyewear stylists) who have a fashion forward mindset, offers personalized eye care services and carefully curated quality eyewear products frames, lenses and contact lenses from the Worlds Top Power Brands.General FunctionThe licensed Optician attracts and retains customers by delivering an exceptional customer experience, fostering customer retention,, and promotes outstanding associate/doctor satisfaction.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrives profitable sales by fostering a retail selling culture
Developing professional business relationships with other associates and Doctors
Fills ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fits and adapts lenses and frames
Assists customers with frame selection ,lenses and coatings based of our 3 for 1 Model
Conducting measurements PD s and heights
Troubleshoot vision issues and bringing resolution for customer satisfaction
Aiding in training and development of new associates
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent
2 or 3 year completion of Ophthalmology and Licence by the regulatory body for Opticians in Nova Scotia.
Experience in a retail setting with proven sales ability
Ability to manage priorities through adaptability, willingness to take calculated risks, and follow-up.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
