Licensed Practical Nurse Job at Chinook Primary Care Network
My Family Doctor Clinic is a new Primary Care Health Clinic located on the West-side of Lethbridge. We are a new and growing family medicine practice looking for new team members! My Family Doctor is currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic Primary Care team. LPNs at My Family Doctor act as leaders on the clinic floor and work with up to two physicians to meet the clinical needs of their patients.
The clinical needs include:
- Health Status Assessments
- Wound Care
- Suture/staple removal
- Liquid Nitrogen Application
- Ear Canal Irrigation
- Assist in minor surgeries
- Vaccine Administration
- Patient Teaching
- Making referrals to specialists
- Medication Injections
- Other duties would include some minor in-house medical reprocessing, periodic patient scheduling, and rooming patients for appointments as needed
My Family Doctor is looking for an individual who is a concise communicator, motivated and able to work productively as a team member in a busy healthcare setting.
Preference will be given to applicants who have previous Primary Care nursing experience, current Pap tester certification, previous Women’s Health nursing experience or previous Medical Aesthetics experience.
