Reporting to the Director of Care and/or Resident Care Coordinator, the Licensed Practical Nurse is the role model and team leader who coordinates the activities and duties of those who deliver direct resident care. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs duties and monitors departmental activities in accordance with their scope of practice, established standards, regulations, policies and procedures to maximize resident focused care.

We can offer a relocation package for full time permanent roles for this opportunity. This package can cover moving expenses, registration fees and travel expenses (receipts required). We offer up to $2,500 for BC candidates and up to $3,300 for out of province candidates.

We can also offer a signing bonus to new hires of $5,000.00 for a full-time permanent position on a two-year contract term!

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of an approved program for Practical Nurses and holds a current License with the BCCNM as an LPN.
2. Valid First Aid Certificate.
3. Food Safe Level 1 certificate.
4. Recent experience as a practicing LPN, in a long - term care setting that included the distribution of medications; 2 years’ experience preferred
5. All successful applicants must pass the vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check applicable to Provincial guidelines.
