Heidelberg Materials is seeking responsible, safe, and dependable Labourer to join our local team. As a Labourer you will support plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment. In this position, you will have the opportunity to use different skills every day as you learn the aggregate industry and fill in for vacancies in various areas of our plant.

What You'll Get To Do

• Over see automated truck load out system.
• General knowledge of electronics.
• Keep conveyors and transfer points clean of build up.
• Skid steer experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of gravel products is an asset.
• Assist with plant tasks including lubrication, maintenance, repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
• Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of learning through on the job training
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• In good physical condition, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required
