Logistics Coordinator - Next Flight Out Division Required Urgently- Prime Time Messenger, Concord, ON

The Logistics Coordinator-NFO Specialist-is responsible for managing and overseeing the smooth and efficient transportation of goods across international borders. They will coordinate with various stakeholders, including carriers, customs officials, and regulatory authorities, to ensure timely delivery and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of international trade and customs procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage cross-border shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to obtain competitive rates and service levels.
Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and import/export requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to cross-border trade and logistics.
Prepare and review necessary shipping documentation, such as bills of landing, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on shipment status.
Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process, working closely with carriers, customs officials, and other relevant parties.
Evaluate and analyze shipment data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment on cross-border logistics strategies and objectives.
Maintain strong relationships with carriers, customs brokers, and other logistics partners

The ideal candidate will meet the requirements below:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience
• We are operating live 24/7/365 and require flexibility with scheduling and available to cover weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
• Detail oriented and quick learner
• Professional attitude
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English

We prefer 2-3 years experience in Logistics but will provide full training.
