Agilus is recruiting for a Logistics Representative – Trucking in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.
Our client is seeking a Trucking Logistics Representative to support their Truck Scheduling department. Reporting to the Manager of Trucking Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for effective communication with the Truck Transportation operations team, internal/ external customers and the fleet of Contracted operators

Responsibilities:
  • Daily management and scheduling of NGL and Crude production from various Producer receipt locations, company and Third party terminals while coordinating deliveries with downstream connecting facilities and terminals;
  • Develop accurate and timely lifting schedules for internal and external counterparties including Producers, Lease Operators and internal scheduling groups
  • Develop and sustain strong customer relationships with Lease Operators and Producers
  • Prepare and manage daily, weekly and monthly shipper and customer documentation as per industry and contractual deadlines
  • Monitor and manage shipper and customer nominations, transactions and supply demand imbalances to provide analysis to shippers
  • Optimize fleet capacity and efficiency through detailed knowledge of the assets, customer requirements, contractual commitments, regulatory requirements and market conditions;
  • Manage communication to producers, Lease Operators, and internal stakeholders

Successful candidates will have:
  • 3+ years of related scheduling or fluid transportation industry experience;
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills – advanced Excel preferred;
  • Detail oriented with very strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills; Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively;
  • Possess a sense of urgency and accountability, ability to respond to tight deadline requirements; Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong business aptitude to understand the company’s competitive landscape and the ability to communicate effectively with customers;
  • Positive and professional attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment; Ability to demonstrate initiative by undertaking tasks independently
  • Experience in transportation scheduling systems (such as TMW) considered an asset;
  • Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks;

Total rewards:
  • 6 - month contract with a possibility of an extension or to rolled on perm for the right fit
  • Schedule: Friday-Saturday-Sunday-Monday (8 hours or 10 hours per day)
  • Pay rate: $28 an hour
