Summary: Ensure that packing lines work well, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance is completed and stock level of spare parts is maintained.
Job Description:
- Up hold, enforce Preventative Maintenance plan for equipment within the plant
- Conduct all necessary maintenances to minimize downtime for production lines
- Assist contracted service technicians
- Diagnose pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic or mechanical problems and complete necessary repairs. (i.e., belts, chains, small motors and gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic valves and cylinders.)
- Maintain stock levels of spare parts
- Install and commission new machinery – train machine operators on the equipment
Skills:
- Ability multitask with confidence and according to priority level
- Knowledge of equipment, processing and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to quickly pick up and tackle issues
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance experience 3+ years in packaging environment
Shift:
Monday – Friday, 2:30PM – 11:00PM
Payrate: $30-33/hr. (Dependent on experience)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bolton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
