Job Overview

You have experience with automation of processes, using Robotic Process Automation and working under minimal supervision, in this role, you will contribute to Wawanesa’s success by leading the development of process optimization for business operations through cross functional collaboration with various stakeholder groups to improve quality, remove process waste and automate process elements through RPA. You will contribute to our culture of continuous improvement enabling simplicity, efficiency and delivery of an exceptional member experience.

You will lead a group of process analysts through coaching, mentoring, and supporting your team to achieve their business and development goals.

Job Responsibilities



Operational Excellence Expertise
  • Establish and drive a Continuous Improvement culture in the organization
  • Build the organizational Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capability utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools and training
  • Experience deploying process automation in an organization
  • Lead the execution of process automation, process mining and RPA
  • Able to prioritize issues
  • Align and prioritize work to strategy

Qualifications


  • 5 years of experience using a structured methodology (related to operational excellence, lean, or six sigma) for problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • 5 years experience with RPA tools such as Kryon Systems, Microsoft power Automate …etc and Process Mining
  • Post-secondary degree in business administration or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Certificated in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or in progress to obtain the certification
  • Proficient understanding of common process improvement tools (i.e., process mapping, SIPOC, FMEA, SPC, etc.) and technologies (ex., Microsoft Office Suite – Visio, etc.)
  • Excellent influencing skills working with many levels within the organization by building trust and strong working relationships
  • Strong leadership ability, leading others to embrace, perform effectively, and adapt quickly to change
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning and organization skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, motivate and provide direction
  • CIP designation and experience in insurance industry is considered an asset
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as MicroStrategy and Power BI an asset
  • Data Science or Analytics capabilities an asset
  • Managerial or supervisory experience is preferred
