The primary function of this role is to be responsible for a variety of tasks that will lead to the successful completion of company marketing objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

Marketing:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in the development of marketing collaterals, campaigns, research studies, events, and social media platforms
  • Prepare, format, and edit a range of documents looked after by the marketing department
  • Stay up to date with knowledge of new marketing trends
  • Expand our business reach by developing and implementing external communication strategies and programs
  • Use different promotional tools to attract prospective clients
  • Develop, propose, implement, and drive marketing strategies for the growth of the centre
  • Be self-directed and motivated, with the ability to manage priorities and ensure that deliverables are completed in a timely and competent manner
  • Prepare presentations for Marketing Director, CPO, CFO and others as applicable
  • Manage and update online website and social media content
  • Produce and distribute displays and signages, working with external vendors as required
  • Tabulate market research data
  • Coordinate special events and promotions for publicity and advertisements
  • Responsible for other clerical administrative responsibilities of the marketing department
  • Update and maintain budget control books

An ideal Candidate should have:

  • A Post-Secondary Education (Marketing & Business Management preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Related experience in marketing (1-year minimum)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Photoshop, InDesign knowledge preferred

Flexible work schedule required during selected events and promotions.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Tsawwassen, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
